Doja Cat had some fun during her set at the Parklife Festival in Manchester, England on Sunday (June 9), sprinkling in a bit of early aughts pop magic into her headlining set on the Valley stage. During a second day of performances in which the grounds turned to a muddy soup thanks to thunderstorms, Doja performed from under a huge clear rain poncho, which covered up a stage outfit that consisted of a white thong, matching white top and furry boots.

In a seeming nod to the inclement weather, Doja dipped into an a cappella bit of Hilary Duff’s 2004 anthem “Come Clean,” singing, “Let it wash away/ My sanity/ ‘Cause I want to feel the thunder/ I wanna scream/ Let the rain…” before stopping and berating the silent audience in mock annoyance. “B–ch you don’t know that s–t?! What the f–k! Wow. Wow.” she yelled, apparently bummed that the soggy attendees were not familiar with the electronic pop anthem from the singer/actress’ second album, 2003’s Metamorphosis.

Doja seemed to shake it off pretty quickly, though, as her band fired up the singer’s hit “Say So” and she later posted a sweet note to attendees on X, writing, “Thank you Manchester! Thank you Parklife!” Doja’s UK summer tour continues on Tuesday (June 11) with a show at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, followed by a gig on Wednesday (June 12) at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham and gigs in Newcastle Upon Tyne and London before she hops over to Amsterdam and Paris and touches down for the Rock in Rio Lisboa in Lisbon on June 23.
