HOW TO CHECK WAEC RESULT 2023. The West Africa Examination Council also known as WAEC has announced the release of the 2023 waec result in their official website. Candidates who participated in West Africa Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for 2023/2024 academic session can now check their result.

HOW TO CHECK WAEC RESULT 2023

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced the release of results of the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates otherwise referred internal examination. The 2023 WAEC Results is now available on WAEC results checking portal and can be accessed online in a number of ways with any convenient device.

Candidates have the option of accessing the their results via the WAEC Result Checker by visiting www.waecdirect.org or through the use of SMS on their mobile devices. Whichever option you choose to take, you will need to get WAEC scratch card to get access to the results.

Unlike previous years where it’s mandatory to purchase a scratch card/pin before you can access your result, everything has changed. Now, candidates can now check their performance (result) using the Smart Identity Card used during the conduct of the examination for their Result Checker PIN and Serial Number.

The first step is to visit the WAEC 2023 result-checking portal at https://www.waecdirect.org.
When it loads, type in your WAEC Examination Number in the box provided.
Next, select your Examination Year i.e. 2023.
You are also required to select your Examination Type i.e. SCHOOL CANDIDATE RESULT.
Enter the Card Serial Number.
Enter the Card PIN.
Click the “Submit” button to get your 2023 WAEC Result.

How to check WAEC Result using SMS?

To uses the SMS option for checking your WAEC results, follow the below steps

Open your SMS app on your phone
Type WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear (do not leave space in between).
Send to 32327.
You will receive a message instantly containing your WAEC statement of result.

Note: The SMS option of checking WAEC results is available to MTN, Glo & Airtel Subscribers only. If you did not receive your WAEC result via SMS, kindly repeat this step again. Charges may also apply for the using SMS service.

You need to have N30 minimum credit on your Simcard before the result will be sent to you. (Note that SMS Cost N30 Only).
